Lata Mangeshkar: Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away and her death has left India mourning. She was 92 years old and took her last breath at Breach Candy Hospitals,Mumbai on 6th February 2022(Sunday).Legendary Singer Lata Mangeshkar tested COVID-19 Positive with mild symptoms and admitted to the ICU of the Breach Candy Hospitals in South Mumbai.

She started her music career at an early age.At the age of 13, she recorded her first song for Vasant Joglekar's Marathi Film " Kiti Hasaal".Her siblings are namely Meena,Asha,Usha and Hridaynath.She established herself as a playback singer in the Hindi Film Industry in the year of 1940's.

Lataji had recorded thousand of superhit songs for Hindi films Industry. She got popularity due to her sweet and captivating voice. She is considered as one of the greatest playback singer of Indian cinema. She received Indian Highest Civilian Award Bharat Ratna in the year of 2001.
