- Brijesh Gupta is appointed as the new Managing Director of RattanIndia Power.
- Lt. Gen Raj Shukla (Retd.Army Officer )has been appointed as a member of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
- Ranil Wickremesinghe has been elected as the 9th President of Sri Lanka. He was six time Prime Minister of Srilanka. He will serve the remaining term of the former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa which will ends in 2024.
